Approved bits for dressage competitions
If you are going to compete in dressage, you need to be aware of whether you are permitted to ride with the bit you use for daily training.
You are allowed to ride with Myler bits at dressage competitions, as the dressage regulations permit bits with a central roller/cylinder and mouthpieces with a port. However, it is not permitted to use cheekpieces/rings with hooks, or mouthpieces with a port higher than 30 mm.
The following Myler mouthpieces are approved for dressage competitions: MB01 - MB02 - MB09 - MB04 - MB32 - MB32-3 - MB06 - MB36 - MB05 - MB33WL
The following cheekpieces/rings are approved for dressage competitions:
-
