TheMB02 mouthpiece is anatomically shaped - the slight arch allows the horse to swallow. The MB02 has no gate, which means that the bit is tongue-less. The mouthpiece has a cylinder in the middle that prevents the bit from "collapsing" in the horse's mouth. Since the mouthpiece is tongue-free, the bit puts pressure on both the tongue and the loader, Myler however, the bit distributes the pressure more evenly over the tongue than the traditional two- or three-part snaffle bit.
This bit can be used for the disciplines:
-
Show Jumping
-
Hunter
-
Distance
Mating bars have the advantage of helping and guiding the horse, as well as providing stability in the horse's mouth. A snaffle bit not only puts a signal in the horse's mouth, it also puts light pressure on the side of the horse's mouth. It can therefore be a solution for the sensitive horse that needs more support and guidance.
A bit ring with a hook allows you to attach the cheek piece of the snaffle and the rein to the bit ring. This can give the horse more stability and calmness in the mouth, as the bit is kept in place in the horse's mouth at all times.
Horse at Level 1:
-
The horse is to be broken in or has just started breaking in.
-
The horse is about to or is learning the basics of gaits, transitions and obedience.
-
The horse has been ridden a bit, but is still learning basic signals.
-
The horse has a challenging temperament.
Independent Side Movement
Some of the Myler bits are equipped with so-called "Independent Side Movement". As the name suggests, this allows the rider to move each side of the bit independently of each other. This means that when the rider pulls on one rein, the horse gets a very clear signal as only one side moves. This provides effective shoulder control and bending of the horse.
