The 2XCool gaiters from Professional's Choice are a new generation of gaiters with the unique feature of preventing overheating of the horse's legs. The gaiters feature 4-way stretch for comfort without restricting the horse's movement - the gaiters are neoprene-free and made from breathable lightweight material.

The new generation of the popular Professional's Choice gaiters feature Kevlar around the fork strap. Kevlar is known for its durability and is also used in knee pads, for example, as it effectively protects against pressure and impact. Kevlar is a soft and flexible material and therefore easily shapes itself to the horse's legs. All in all, the material gives the 2XCool gaiters a unique fit and makes them easy to place correctly on the horse's leg.

The 2XCool gaiters are made from the special 2XCool Performance Fabric from Brrr°, which combines naturally cooling minerals with efficient absorption of moisture and heat. The horse' s legs are kept as dry as possible and maintain a more stable temperature than classic neoprene gaiters.

Thestory of Professional's Choice started back in 1976 when founder Dal Scott broke his leg in a riding accident. Hoping to recover faster, he developed neoprene orthopaedic products. This was the start of Dricast Orthopedics, Inc - what we know today as Professional's Choice. Dal had a passion for horses, so naturally, it wasn't long before the focus shifted from people to equine equipment. The development and production of therapeutic products for horses began in 1986, when the brand was renamed Professional's Choice Sports Medicine Products, Inc.

After the brand was renamed Professional's Choice, the research and development team began working on what is now known as the original Sports Medicine Boot. Since the popular Professional's Choice gaiters made their debut in 1990, the development of equine leg protection has continued apace - the latest being the groundbreaking 2XCool gaiters with cooling effect. However, Professional's Choice does more than just make gaiters for horses; for example, Professional's Choice fly masks have also become very popular with their great fit and beautiful patterns.
