Heritage Gloves - Technology and material

Heritage riding gloves feature the clever "Rein Cut" design between the ring and little finger. This design means that the impractical stitching between the fingers is removed and replaced with a material that gives you freedom of movement while maintaining a good grip on the reins.  

Heritage has developed the "Super Grip" material, which is a high-quality synthetic leather. It is designed to increase the feel of the reins while providing a good grip. The material is both breathable and allows moisture from your skin to escape. Super Grip riding gloves are machine washable.  

"Delta Grip" is a synthetic leather material that increases your feel and grip on the reins. This material is specifically designed to be more durable and resistant to wear and tear than riding gloves from other brands. This goal has increased the lifespan of the gloves. Delta Grip riding gloves are machine washable.  

Find your Heritage glove size - US to EU 

Heritage is an American brand and gloves are therefore US sized. In the table below you can quickly find your US and EU size, which is the size we most commonly use at home. If you are unsure of your glove size, measure by wrapping a tape measure around your hand at the widest point. Make a loose fist and read the number. 

Winter riding gloves 

Heritage Gloves is especially known for their winter riding gloves and winter work gloves. At Riding Equipment, we especially love the Polar Stretch Fleece gloves, which are soft and comfortable, and have nylon in the palm to help you hold on to the reins. Polarstretch The fleece glove is a winter riding glove for those who prefer a slightly thinner winter riding glove.  

If you need an even warmer pair of riding gloves for winter, we can only recommend the Extreme Winter. This model is made with 3M THINSULATE™, which is a thin but ultra-insulating and waterproof material. Extreme Winter is also lined with Polar Fleece, which makes them soft and warm. On the back of the hand, Extreme Winter has a pocket where you can place a thermal insert for those really cold days.  

Of course, a good pair of gloves is also necessary for winter stable work. Here, the Winter Work glove is clearly preferable. Winter Work winter work gloves are well insulated and waterproof at the same time. Heritage has developed this popular model to include touchscreen-friendly fingertips - meaning you don't have to take off your glove to use your phone on cold days. In addition, the Winter Work glove, like the Extreme Winter, has a pocket for thermal inserts on the back of the hand.
