Behind Weaver

Weaver Leathers roots in the equestrian industry run deep. Founded in 1973, the brand started as a two-person equipment and shoe shop - Fryburg Shoe Shop, which has evolved significantly over time. However, this doesn't change the fact that the philosophy is still to make quality products from the finest materials and have satisfied customers.

The founder of Weaver Leather is Harry A. Weaver, who built the business on a solid foundation of craftsmanship and exceptional customer service that remains a hallmark of Weaver today.

Harry quickly saw an opportunity in the market for reliable and sturdy equipment and started by manufacturing leather halters and selling them to local equipment stores. The halters quickly became a hit with shop owners and horse owners alike, creating a demand for more leather products from the small business, which was initially housed in a 6x12m garage. Harry took up the challenge and changed the business name to Weaver Leather Goods.

Today, the company holds on to the values of the past but keeps its eyes on the future. The team strives to maintain the solid quality that Harry started with, while developing and meeting the future needs of the modern horse owner.

ECOLUXE Horsemanship equipment

However, there are also other benefits to bamboo, including its ability to absorb moisture - in fact, it can absorb up to three times its own weight in moisture, which means it effectively wicks sweat away from the horse's skin. Bamboo is naturally resistant to UV rays. This means, among other things, that bamboo equipment does not fade in the sun.

Weaver now has a wide range of horsemanship equipment - rope halters and long ropes - and also has a range of rope halters WITH horsemanship ropes. The advantage of choosing a rope halter with a horsemanship rope on it is, among other things, that you avoid the carabiner on the rope. A knotted rope provides a more elegant transition from rope halter to rope. In addition, you ensure that the kit matches in quality and color, so you can stand out when you practice earthwork, Mountain Trail or use your rope halter for riding.
