Fuse western rugs are a combination of a hand-woven New Zealand wool top and a steam-pressed felt underside. The underlay is anatomically shaped to follow the horse's back and allow for movement. The steam-pressed felt underside wicks moisture away from the horse's back while providing shock absorption.

The manufacturer writes: "Combination pad of hand woven New Zealand wool blanket top and 100% steam pressed wool felt pad. Contoured spine for anatomically correct fit. 100% Steam pressed wool felt wicks moisture and provides impact protection.
