Doping free? YES!

We are pleased that horse people are greatly helping their horses with increased comfort during the summer months by using Absorbine Ultrashield spray.

There has been a lot of incorrect information regarding Ultrashield and doping rules, therefore we would like to clarify that there are no and never have been any ingredients in Ultrashield Black that are or have been on the FEI list of banned substances! You can therefore use Ultrashield spray on all sport horses without any problems, including during competition - the same applies to Ultrashield Green, of course.

We have previously recommended that Ultrashield Green should not be used on horses participating in trotting or gallop races or competitions in Sweden. There used to be cedar oil (which some Swedish federations prohibit the use of) in Ultrashield Green, however, this ingredient has been removed, so you can safely use Ultrashield Green for ALL sport and race horses if you have one of the new bottles without cedar oil (the label on the bottle clearly states if it contains cedar oil).

Always remember to use the products according to the instructions for use. If you are unsure about the use of products in connection with competition participation, we recommend that you contact your veterinarian or the respective federation.
