Monty Roberts Dually Grime

The Dually halter is an effective training rope as it can apply pressure on the bridge of the horse's nose. When you buy a Dually halter, you will receive a DVD that shows you how to use the halter. For example, you will be shown the "Dually Steps" - you can also visit Monty Roberts Equus Online University to learn more about Monty Roberts training methods and equipment.

The Dually halter is available in five different sizes:

Large (blue): fits large warmblood horses (who use X Full in halter/bridle; have a very long head or are very wide over the nose) and large cold-blooded horses
Medium (black): covers the vast majority of riding horses and large ponies that use either Cob or Full in halter/bridle. From 300 kg to about 600 kg horses including many Haflinger, Fjord horses, Icelandic horses, etc.
Small (red): suitable for medium to large ponies (big pony / small cob), many Arabians with small heads, and warmblood yearlings (approx. 150 kg to 350 kg)
X-Small (green): suitable for medium ponies and large Shetlanders, as well as foals of many breeds
Miniature (purple): suitable for miniature, small Shetlanders and pony foals

REMEMBER - Never tie the horse in the rings on the side of the halter, only in the ring under the chin. And remember not to leave the halter on the horse in the paddock or stall, as it can get caught.
