MB36 Combination 3-ring // MB36 3-ring combination bite

Indeoendent Side Movement

The MB36 mouthpiece is anatomically shaped to the horse's mouth and has a port for tongue freedom. The special feature of the MB36 mouthpiece is that it tilts slightly forward, which provides tongue pressure when there is contact on the rein.

Thebit is suitable for the disciplines:
  • Jumping
  • Distance
Thecombination bit has several features that have made it a popular bit on the market. The bit is not just a traditional mouthpiece and bit rings, but is equipped with several features that refine the communication with the horse.
The combination bit has a noseband and chin/jaw strap that applies pressure that the horse knows from the halter. When you make contact on the rein, these pressure points are the first to be affected - on the bridge of the nose, under the chin and in the neck. If the horse doesn't yield to this pressure, the mouthpiece on the bit will give a signal in the horse's mouth. The bit ring is equipped with a stop block, so initially the horse's mouth will only be minimally affected - if the horse does not release the pressure here, the block will activate the mouthpiece and give a greater signal in the horse's mouth.
The combination bit is available with different mouthpieces and different degrees of tongue freedom. In addition, the Myler combination bit is available with either two or three rings.

The horse at Level 2-3:
  • The horse has training corresponding to Level 2, but has a good temperament and can therefore benefit from a bit with more freedom of tongue.
  • The horse has training similar to Level 3, but requires more support and control as it is not ready for the freedom of the Level 3 bit.
  • The horse shows resistance and reluctance to the Myler Level 2 bites.

Independent Side Movement

Some of the Myler bits are equipped with so-called "Independent Side Movement". This is, as the name indicates, allows the rider to move each side of the bit independently of each other. This means that when the rider pulls on one rein, the horse gets a very clear signal as only one side moves. This provides effective shoulder control and bending of the horse.
