Myler The Kandar

Myler mouthpieces have benefits that many have found their horses enjoy - so it's great news for dressage riders that Myler Bits has designed a curb bar with all these benefits!

Myler The curb bar currently comes with two different mouthpieces - MB33 and MB15PB. Both mouthpieces give the horse freedom of tongue and are equipped with Independent Side Movement. This means a completely new way of using the currycomb. With Independent Side Movement you can, for example, use the curb bit for fine and effective communication with the horse compared to the traditional curb bit with a fixed mouthpiece.

A curb bit should always be used with a bridle bit. Myler has designed a bridle bit that fits the curb bit. The two bits are designed so that the horse has as little in its mouth as possible when forced to ride with two bits. Too thick a bit can create tension in the temporomandibular joint, and tension in the temporomandibular joint negatively affects both the balance center and the center of proprioception (coordination) according to research by Dr. Vet. Joyce Harmann, who Myler Bits has collaborated with for a number of years.
