Independent Side Movement

TheMB33 mouthpiece is Myler the high port mouthpiece, and thus a bite with the MB33 is the bite with the most tongue freedom. In addition to having a port, the mouthpiece is anatomically shaped to the horse's mouth. The mouthpiece has a cylinder in the middle of the gate, which provides Independent Side Movement.

ThePelham bit has a suspension and two rings for the reins. The Myler Pelham bit comes with a foam chain that must be tightened under the horse's chin to give the bit the correct effect. The Pelham bit can be used with either a delta rein or two reins - if you use two reins, you can regulate the bar effect of the bit as you can use the "bar rein" as needed. Independent Side Movement

Some of the Myler bits are equipped with so-called "Independent Side Movement". As the name suggests, this allows the rider to move each side of the bit independently of each other. This means that when the rider pulls on one rein, the horse gets a very clear signal as only one side moves. This provides effective shoulder control and bending of the horse.
