Professional's Choice | SMx Air-Ride OrthoSport Saddle Pad

The SMx Air Ride underlay adapts to both the horse and saddle, creating a "lock down" effect for a more stable and comfortable ride. Anatomical shape that follows the horse's back and movements; lightweight material; and with SMx Air Ride core for shock absorption and pressure distribution. Soft fleece lining increases comfort.

The OrthoSport underlay features an extra 1/4" Air Ride core behind the shoulders and along the spine. This provides a better fit for the horse with pronounced shoulders or a high lance mark.

The whole story of Professional's Choice started back in 1976 when founder Dal Scott broke his leg in a riding accident. Hoping to recover faster, he developed neoprene orthopaedic products. This was the start of Dricast Orthopedics, Inc - what we know today as Professional's Choice. Dal had a passion for horses, so naturally, it wasn't long before the focus shifted from people to equine equipment. The development and production of therapeutic products for horses began in 1986, when the brand was renamed Professional's Choice Sports Medicine Products, Inc.
