To give your Matrix pad the best conditions to work optimally for your horse, make sure it hangs dry when not in use. Store the pad in a place where it can ventilate and dry if the horse has been sweating while riding. The pad can be brushed with a stiff brush to remove horse hair. Machine washable - but remember to remove the inserts! Follow the instructions on the washing label.

Matrix has developed the underlay and padding for the best shock absorption. During riding, both horse and rider are exposed to many shocks that propagate through the back - it is extremely stressful. It is to minimize the degree of impact that Matrix has developed (and continues to develop) their underlay and underlay inserts. By minimizing the degree of impact, both the horse's and rider's back can be spared enormously.
