Classic III Spring/Combi Half Pad - Extreme Pro-Impact Protection!

Close Contact Half Pad with Buca's Stay-Dry lining that quickly wicks sweat away from the skin. At the same time, the pad has a non-slip function to keep the saddle in place on the horse's back. Close Contact is great for jumping and combination saddles, and a Half Pad makes it easy to add the benefits of T3 to all your surfaces.

Machine washable - but remember to remove the inserts!

The Extreme Pro-Impact Protection insert consists of a 13 mm thick layer of Poron XRD. This is a material developed to give your horse 90% shock absorption. This is very gentle on the horse during daily work and can also help the rider with a bad back. Both horse and rider are exposed to many shocks during a ride; with the Extreme Pro insert, these shocks will be effectively absorbed instead of propagating in the back of the horse and rider. Poron XRD gives the horse the freedom to work, but has the technology to protect.

When Matrix material gets cold, it can become hard, so we recommend storing Matrix underlay and tack at a minimum of 15⁰ C. The material is not harmed by low temperatures, so if it is not possible to store the products in a heated place, this is not a problem.

Matrix has developed the underlay and padding with the best shock absorption in mind.When riding, both horse and rider are exposed to many shocks that propagate through the back - it's extremely stressful. It is to minimize the degree of impact that Matrix has developed (and continues to develop) their underlay and underlay inserts. By minimizing the degree of impact, both the horse's and rider's back can be spared enormously. Riders who suffer from a bad back can benefit greatly from a Matrix pad, as can horses who are prone to back pain.

You can choose from a range of Matrix pads to protect the horse's and rider's back - such as Extreme Pro-Impact, Ortho-Impact or Pro-Impact Protection. Matrix uses the material Poron XRD for several of the inserts. Poron XRD is a material that absorbs up to 90% of the force that the horse and rider are exposed to in the form of impact. In the Ortho-Impact insole, Poron XRD is combined with viscoelastic foam, best known as memory foam. This layer effectively molds to the horse's back and compensates for any misalignments.

All Matrix underlayers are ergonomically shaped to the horse's back - whether you need a dressage underlay, a jumping underlay or a western underlay. For jumping and dressage horses, Matrix pads are also available as Half Pads, so you can add Matrix inserts to all your favorite pads.
