MB06 Medium Baucher // MB06 medium suspension

Independent Side Movement

TheMB06 mouthpiece is anatomically shaped to the horse's mouth and has a port that gives the horse freedom of tongue. Mouthpieces are equipped with a cylinder that prevents the bit from "buckling" and thus putting pressure on the horse's tongue; the cylinder also allows the bit to have the Independent Side Movement function. The difference between the MB04 and MB06 mouthpieces is that the cylinder on the MB06 is wider than on the MB04. The wide cylinder makes the mouthpiece completely stable.

The bit iswell suited for the disciplines :
  • Dressage (FEI approved)
  • Show jumping
  • Icelandic
  • Endurance
  • Tour riding
  • Hunter bit
The Baucher bit is a suspension bit. This means that the cheek pieces of the bridle and reins are not attached to the same ring. The Baucher bit therefore sits more calmly in the horse's mouth. Many people mistakenly believe that a Baucher snaffle bit with suspension gives a signal in the horse's neck - this is not correct. The suspension only means that the bit is calm and stable in the horse's mouth, they do not put pressure on the horse's neck, as there is no exchange or bar effect on a Baucher bit.

The horseat Level 2-3 :
  • The horse has training equivalent to Level 2, but has a good temperament and can therefore benefit from a bite with more tongue freedom.
  • The horse has training similar to Level 3, but requires more support and control as it is not ready for the freedom of the Level 3 bit.
  • The horse shows resistance and reluctance to the Myler Level 2 bites.

Independent Side Movement

Some of the Myler bits are equipped with so-called "Independent Side Movement". This is, as the name indicates, allows the rider to move each side of the bit independently of each other. This means that when the rider pulls on one rein, the horse gets a very clear signal as only one side moves. This provides effective shoulder control and bending of the horse.
