Sielja Dantved - Dressage & Showrider

Drumhorse Stable Denmark - "Any horse can do dressage"

Sielja introduces herself:
My name is Sielja Dantved, I am 26 years old and I have been riding all my life. I am the daughter of DrumHorse Stable Denmark and my family represents the European Drumhorse studbook.

I started my riding career as a dressage rider in the traditional way, with two beautiful ponies who taught me a lot, and I started a lot of competitions at higher levels. When it was time to move to horses, my family bought a DV, but I fell in love with our drumhorses and today I can't imagine having any other breed. I have trained all of our horses and am proud of how far they have come. Our drumhorses go from LA and up to grand prix in dressage, at the same time we have a trained parade horse that walks with drums.

On my instagram I blog about my riding philosophy and share my and the horses' everyday life. I want to inspire riders who have chosen an unconventional horse to fight for their dream and not be intimidated by people judging their horse. I am committed to being a versatile rider for the sake of my horses. That's why I ride both on kandar, cordeo, bitless and do groundwork. It is important for me to be the best I can be for the sake of my horses, and therefore I work a lot with myself. In my daily work I use gloves from Heritage, as they give me a good feel for the horse both with and without a bit. My favorite is Tackified Pro Air!

For the past 16 years, DrumHorse Stable Denmark has worked to show what this rare and special breed has to offer. Over the years, we have participated in many large events where we have shown our horses in dressage, show and parade with drums. During shows, competitions, photo shoots and presentations, it is important that our horses are razor-sharp. Therefore, the most important products for us are Absorbine Showsheen and Stain Remover & Whitener. We keep the long manes, whiskers and tails with Showsheen and the Stain Remover is indispensable when traveling with horses as white as ours. These two products are staples in our stable as well as in our trailer, and have been for many years!
